Moving on...

The shape may be distinctive within Stretford, but the users can easily walk past without noticing the entrance.
Through separating the main programmes, a new threshold can be created.
The contrast in materiality provides a more recognisable entrance for the users.
Initial Lighting ideas

By Day:
The use of translucent forms of glazing ensures that the south-facing curtain wall system absorbs natural light, with the system filtering out the glare to produce a more calming, naturally lit environment.

By Night:
The use of artificial lighting projecting onto the surface of the curtain wall will help to attract people to the centre, becoming a beacon of social hub and activity.
